- Deliver safely the outputs expected in the Manufacturing Excellence and BlueScope business plan on day to day basis
- Deliver continuous improvement outcomes in the "Support" of the operation of IETS
- Execute and monitor daily treatment quality before discharge.
- Verify the correct quantity of chemical dosing and follow the procedure in preparing chemical.
- Ensure piping, instruments and equipment of IETS are in good condition.
- Record daily IETS Performance Monitoring report and chemical consumption record.
- Sample daily treated water for lab test (pH, COD & Fe content) and ensure all parameter meets DOE Standard B requirement.
- Ensure all the IETS working area are clean and compliance to environment requirements.
- Strive to support, encourage and achieve better company objective & KPIs.
- Always follow safety procedures and company policies as well as recommended process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and safety.
- Identify and report unsafe operations to Line Leader immediately.
- Work safely and always adhere to the Company's safety policies and procedures.
- Possess a Diploma in science or environment or related studies
- Normal 5-days working (Monday to Friday)
- Available to cover shift and call back as and when required such as office hours, weekends and public holidays.
- Work on Shift Independently and safely

Description
The IETS Operator will be responsible for operating, maintaining equipment and ensuring IETS daily water treatment operation meet standard B DOE water quality before discharge.Ensure that safety standards and procedures are followed at all times.
