Description
Responsibilities and DutiesAccounting
· Responsible for all aspects of financial reporting processes to close general ledgers and report financial statement monthly.
· Manage accounting staff on shore and offshore and work with other Finance department heads (FP&A, working capital, Tax and internal audit) as needed to ensure proper and coordination of transactions.
· Manage special projects and provide detailed analysis on issues as they arise.
· Work regularly with filed leadership to ensure business unit master data is accurate and that resulting report distribution is correct.
· Direct and enforce all month and deadlines in the field.
· Ensure account reconciliations are prepared and reviewed month.
· Plan, execute, and wrap-up the annual audits and quarterly reviews with group auditors and coordination of internal audits, when required.
· Resolve internal audit issues as they arise by adding/charging processes and procedures as needed.
· Manage the overall Finance Department include fixed assets management, taxation, regular statutory reporting and compliance requirements.
Tax
· Responsible for direct and indirect taxes.
· Responsible for timely preparation and submission of the direct and indirect tax returns in China.
· Responsible for the tax audit in China.
· Responsible for corporate compliance under global transfer pricing policy and compliance with local requirements.
· Responsible for the reporting of the China tax position.
· Represent company before China tax authorities conducting income or other tax audits managing the relationship with Chinese tax authorities;
· Managing the relationship with external tax advisor.
FP&A
· Analysis of BU for expense/Balance sheet/main KPIs.
· Bridge of FM customer vs PM and budget.
· Prepare for F2F monthly pack.
· Monitor cash pool status and make weekly cash plan forecast.
· Review, consolidation and analysis of weekly cash flow forecast.
· Budget working file review and consolidation (customer/station P&L).
· Prepare for balance sheet budget and support budget revision.
· Review office lease contract and vendor contract.
Qualifications· Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor Degree in Finance/Accountancy or related professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA/MICPA/ASCPA).
· Experience in freight forwarding industry accounting will be an added advantage.
· Ability to multi-task, prioritize, meet tight deadline and good problem-solving skills.
· Able to work with others as a team and possess good personalities.
