    Group Technology and Operations (GTO) provides software and system development, information technology support services and banking operations.

    We have centralized and standardized the technology components into Singapore, creating a global footprint which can be utilized for supporting our regional subsidiaries and the branches around the world. We operate and support 19 countries with this architecture to provide a secure and flexible banking infrastructure.

    Our Operations divisions provide transactional customer services for our businesses while also focusing on cost efficiency through process improvements, automation and straight through processing.

    Job Responsibilities

    The Standard Account Management Services is an intermediate position responsible for providing Operations support services. The overall objective of this role is to ensure the seamless delivery of operations support services in alignment with UOB operations support infrastructure and processes.

    Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to day operation tasks i.e. perform the manual disambiguation of potential matches generated from UOBScreening Transaction & Customer, perform all account maintenances instructions received from customers either via mail or CBOL & handling of bankruptcy orders downloaded from DGI portal.
  • Coordinator for Core Operations' administrative matters, including but not limited to daily Dashboard reporting to UOB group, coordinate Business Continuity Plan testing and documentation, records management, etc
  • Responsible to identify, analyzing, and deploying process improvement to cross functional process.
  • Support the unit leads in maintaining controls through manual tabulation of risk assessment and documentation, culminating in timely reporting to UOB stakeholders.
  • Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
  • Work with the team, under minimal supervision and ensure all deliverables and objectives are met.
  • Serve as a backup for manager with delegated authority as required, as needed.
  • Not limited to the above, the candidate is required to support the team in adhering to all controls and regulatory requirements

    Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2-5 years of working experience in operations capacity.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Proactive leadership and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and able to work under pressure
