    About the Department

    Group Technology and Operations (GTO) provides software and system development, information technology support services and banking operations.

    We have centralized and standardized the technology components into Singapore, creating a global footprint which can be utilized for supporting our regional subsidiaries and the branches around the world. We operate and support 19 countries with this architecture to provide a secure and flexible banking infrastructure.

    Our Operations divisions provide transactional customer services for our businesses while also focusing on cost efficiency through process improvements, automation and straight through processing.

    Job Responsibilities

  • Deliver high quality customer service, and respond to and resolve account service issues
  • Perform financial transaction over the counter and assist customer in various banking transaction as needed
  • ATM, CDM and CQM machine handling and reconciliation.
  • Handle customer enquiries and refer leads / queries to appropriate channels
  • Attend and resolve "quick kill" or basic to moderately complex problems based on practice and precedence
  • Transform service transactions to sales opportunities, complete various financial transactions and refer opportunities where appropriate
  • Educate customers on utilizing available access digital channels
  • Execute account opening and refer opportunities where appropriate
  • Participate in sales/ service activities within the branch including seminars, micromarketing events, promotional campaigns, product initiatives, etc.
  • Adhere to operational controls, including legal, corporate, and regulatory procedures to ensure the safety and security of customer and bank assets
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding bank, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
