    Description

  • Implements cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems and equipment for all phases of manufacturing. Prepares test and diagnostic programs, designs test fixtures and equipment, and completes specifications and procedures for new products. Plans the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices. - Knowledge: Having wide-ranging experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.
  • Manage all test engineering activities at subcontractor test sites, drive test process standardization and improve site capabilities and capacities
  • Manage New Product Introduction (NPI) to subcontractor, debug test program and hardware for mass production
  • Support production in wafer sort and package test, aggressive test time reduction (TTR), test yield improvement, customer return analysis and quality conformance
  • Lead and assist other team members to resolve technical issues, perform site to site correlation, implement new test strategies, test plans and automations
  • Determines own priorities, methods and procedures on new assignments
  • Incumbents provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in his/her area of specialization.
  • Qualifications/Experience

  • BS/MS in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Computer Science
  • 5+ years of test engineering experiences in high volume production test environment and socket, load-board, probe card knowledge
  • Familiar with Advantest 93K PS1600 tester platform and programming skills
  • Knowledge in software programming - Unix, C or Perl
  • Able to multitask in a fast paced environment. Project management skill is a plus
  • Aggressive attitude and excellent communications skills in English
