    The Finance and Corporate Services function manages the financial and administrative needs of the Group to help achieve its business goals.

    Group Finance

    We support enhanced decision-making to achieve optimal and sustainable financial outcomes for our shareholders. We are responsible for providing insights into the performance of the Group through financial, regulatory and performance reporting of the Group.

    Job Responsibilities

  • Present and report key financials and KPIs including provide variance and trend analysis
  • Monitor, review, and provide insight of business performance and profitability including recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities
  • Ensure that the management reporting and analysis are reliable, timely and accurate
  • Study, analyse and benchmark competitors' performance including identify trends and opportunities to enhance financial performance
  • Oversee and manage the budgeting and financial forecasting processes
  • Ensure the compliance of the established financial management framework, policy and guidelines
  • Develop performance measures that support the Bank's strategic direction and monitor the implementation of strategic business plans
  • Identify opportunities for operational improvement, cost saving and system enhancement
  • Participate in key decisions as a member of the management team and provide advice on the financial implications of business activities
  • Interactions and collaborations with stakeholders and business partners within UOB Group to drive executions, resolve issues and leverage resources.
  • Lead and motivate the Performance Management team, demonstrating drive to make a positive difference, influence and provide clarity to for the team.
  • Build on existing data analytics capabilities to support in-depth analysis of business performance.
  • Provide leadership to the financial management team and ensure the development and retention of key / skilled staff
