    JR43263 Poste Equipment Engineer

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    As a Poste equipment engineer at Micron MMY, you will responsible for monitoring, sustaining, and improving the equipment in their assigned area while working in partnership with area engineers and tool vendors. You will need to monitor tool performance, schedule and perform preventative maintenance on assigned tool sets, and use mechanical, electronic and PC/software skills to solve and repair equipment issues. Additional, need to ensures compliance to all Safety work standards for the technician who need to follows to all standards of operation relative to safety.

    RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:

  • Develop system or procedure to ensure first time success in PM, effective troubleshooting that result in low UDT/SDT and spare cost.
  • Forecast and budget on equipment upkeep cost and any other related expenditures. Drive improvement activities to reduce equipment upkeep costs.
  • Work with the PM team to ensure that equipment and tools are maintained and calibrated in schedule.
  • Work closely with Process and Manufacturing to address equipment constraint issues as long as Quality issues are addressed to meet the product output and quality.
  • Performs electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process
  • Setup the technician development to promote/upgrade technician's skill by yearly.
  • To provide support and adequate resources to ensure compliance with Environmental, Health, Safety and Security (EHSS) requirements, and participate in improving and maintaining the EHSS management system. Insure good practice of housekeeping on tools, equipment, and materials.
  • Ensure that employees have the required training, knowledge, and competency in performing the tasks.
  • To fallout the BKM projects to minimum the site standardization gap
  • Drive and sustain TPM integrity through 6S, m-tags and CIP execution
  • Experience / Skills:

  • Any number of years' experience in Poste equipment engineering.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced, multifaceted, environment
  • Excellent ability to prioritize and run numerous tasks at a time with minimum guidance and follow up.
  • Outstanding people skills with ability to work efficiently across multiple teams and partners
  • Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 1 years or more experience with memory products in Poste equipment and leadership experience in semiconductor manufacturing (preferred but not required).
  • Strong drive and excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate complex technical ideas/concepts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to find creative solutions to difficult problems
  • Good multitasking skills and ability to set priorities in a fast moving, dynamic environment
  • Knowledge in FMEA, QCP, SPC and DOE is advantageous.
