    About the Department

    The Global Market function leverages our in-depth knowledge of markets to provide timely financial advice, products and solutions to our clients. Together with our segment managers, we manage our clients' investment, liability and risk management needs through a comprehensive suite of treasury products and services across multiple asset classes.

    Job Responsibilities

    ASSURANCE

    1. OPERATION RISK AND COMPLIANCE

  • Ensure full compliance and enhance staff awareness to regulatory guidelines and operation procedures
  • Perform review and testing for operational compliance and non-recurrence of audit items
  • 2. POLICIES REVIEW, ADMINISTRATION AND DOCUMENTATION

  • Compilation of the department's SOPs, review controls within them and ensure yearly review is performed
  • 3. AUDIT COORDINATION

  • Compilation of documents for audit requirement and provide input on audit observations feedbacks
  • Monitor progress and updates of outstanding audit issues.
  • 4. LINE CONTROL AND RISK MANAGER (LRCM)

  • Complete Operational Risk tools and initiatives roll-out within the agreed timeline
  • Complete facilitation of risk and control identification and assessment for applicable processes
  • Job Requirements

  • A recognized Degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant banking experiences
  • Knowledge of Global Market operations is a must
  • Knowledge of Murex system is an added advantage
  • Strong planning and organization skills, ability to develop work processes
  • Excellent interpersonal skill
  • Possess good people management and leadership skills
