- Oversee and direct the creation of new coatings products.
- Research and development of new products which meet the business needs of customers and complies with the regulations of relevant statutory bodies.
- Work with cross-functional teams to plan on the new product launches.
- To provide technical support to customers including onsite support for line trial and troubleshooting.
- To identify, source, test, and assess novel raw materials to reduce costs or replace existing resources.
- To ensure the product formulas are updated & maintained properly to ensure accuracy & compliance with regulations.
- To work closely with the operations group to make sure the trial to full-scale production goes well.
- To assist in the quality control processes to ensure the manufactured products meet the required standards.
- To contribute to quality assurance initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
- Bachelor Degree in Chemistry/Applied Science and/or higher qualifications.
- Possess at least 5 years of experience in paints and chemicals industry.
