    Responsibilities
    1. To review takaful proposals by assessing personal profile, medical report, and legal information.

    2. Approve and decline Takaful applicants based on risk analysis and in accordance with client's underwriting and compliance guidelines.

    3. To analyse the risk involved and make recommendation accordingly within the set turnaround time and service level.

    4. Keep up to date on new or enhanced products / services to maintain a high level of quality service to clients.

    5. Support reporting Team Leader in meeting agreed staff and section's productivity and performance.

    6. Assist in any System related issues and involved in various Projects regardless of production or non-production related.

    7. Perform related duties and responsibilities as assigned by superior from time to time.

    Qualification and Experience

    Possess a good Degree in Biology, Medical Science, Medicine, Nursing, Biotechnology, Health Science and/or a Professional Life Insurance qualification such as ALU and LOMA, or any field related to human biology or public health.

    Minimum 3 years' experience in Underwriting with minimum +50%EM authority are preferred.

    Able to pay close attention to details and able to work in office desk bound environment.

    Must be willing to work long hours, on weekends and public holidays if required to.

    Able to work independently and in a team in a target-based environment.

    Proficient in written and spoken English.
