    Description

    1. Responsible for the quality, accuracy, and timely delivery of Retail Accounting services in accordance with the defined SLAs/KPIs.

    • Perform daily sales reconciliation in the system against the source

    • Liaise with support team for additional support if require

    • Ensure payment reconciliation against sales are performed on timely and accurately

    • Ensure inventory reconciliation are performed timely

    • Liaise with Brand/Store for any mismatch and follow up until resolve

    • Performed the escalation whenever require on timely basis

    • Liaise with banker and payment provider whenever require for payment issue

    • Support UAT for projects and business requirements enhancements

    • Provide Accounting advise in accordance to accounting standard and company policy

    2. Ensure Retail Accounting processes are in compliance with company policy, accounting standard and local statutory requirements through
    a. Adhered to the Corporate financial policies
    b. Support and maintain an effective internal control system
    c. Coordinate the SOX documentation and ensure full compliance with SOX when required
    d. Oversee the yearly and periodic external and internal audit and ensure there is no material adjustment due to non-compliance of accounting principles.

    3. Respond to all inquiries in a timely and accurate manner. Ensure that the Finance and Accounting Department is rendering an effective service to internal and external clients.

    4. Support the business units for the implementation of new business model and new brand integration, i.e. to provide guidance on accounting treatment, process control and system testing

    5. Identify and implement process improvement/automation for improve process efficiencies.

    6. Provide back up support within the team. Be part of maintaining a motivating workplace and safe working environment for all team and department colleagues.

    7. Maintain and ensure process workflow and documentation are up to date to the current processes.

    Qualifications
  • Fresh graduate are welcomed to apply
  • Bachelor's Degree or professional qualification is Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or any related disciplines
  • 1-2 of working experiences in Retail Accounting (including Online) process and capable to manage the end to end process independently.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Positive and willing to learn attitude
  • Prior experience in SAP, case management tool, and Microsoft office knowledge including excel, power point will be a strong advantage
  • Prior retail industry or FMCG experience would be valuable
  • Prior experience in working in captive share service center will be an added value
  • Ability to work independently
