    As an Assistant Manager, Finance at airasia MOVE, you will play a key role in supporting the financial operations of the company. Working closely with the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for various aspects of financial planning, analysis, and reporting.

    Responsibilities:

    Financial Analysis:

  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support decision-making processes.
  • Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
  • Collaborate with different departments to gather relevant information for accurate financial projections.
  • Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare and present financial reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and financial trends.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Cash Flow Management:

  • Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure liquidity and financial stability.
  • Work closely with Treasury to optimize cash management strategies.
  • Variance Analysis:

  • Analyze and explain variances between actual financial results and budgeted/forecasted figures.
  • Recommend corrective actions to address any discrepancies.
  • Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements within the finance department.
  • Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Audit Coordination:

  • Support external and internal audit processes by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Ensure compliance with audit recommendations and implement corrective actions.
  • Ad-hoc Financial Projects:

  • Participate in special financial projects as assigned by the Finance Manager.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of financial strategies.
  • Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
