Job description
Job Responsibilities:
• Extensive experience in drafting and negotiation of commercial agreements (NDA, services agreement, license agreement, purchase agreement, agency, distribution, etc.).
• Exercise sound judgement when negotiating key business and legal terms that balances business objectives and legal risks.
• Support secretarial advice on the administration of the company.
• Design and promote legal training on the application of laws, regulations and internal policies.
• Conduct legal research and perform any other tasks as assigned.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.
• Manage and supervise junior members of the Legal team.
Qualifications and Personal Qualities:
• Minimum LLB Degree.
• At least 6 years PQE and previous regional experience or working in an MNC is preferable.
• Good critical thinking, creative problem-solving abilities and pragmatic/business-oriented approach to legal issues.
• Demonstrated ability to pick things up quickly and work well in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently but knowing when to ask for help or a second opinion.
• Past experience with data privacy is ideal, as well as interest in AI.
• Fluent in spoken and written English; proficiency in a second language is advantageous.
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Associate Legal Counsel.
