    Description

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and maintain accurate financial statements and reports, including profit and loss accounts, budgets, cash flows, and variance analysis.
    • Perform cost-benefit analysis, and identify cost-saving and profit-maximizing opportunities.
    • Implement and oversee an effective cash management strategy to ensure optimal liquidity.
    • Work closely with department heads to compile and analyze financial data, making recommendations for cost efficiency.
    • Understand and apply the principles of the Amoeba Management System to drive financial performance and organizational growth.
    • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, e.g. ACCA, CPA or CIMA qualification.
    • Member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) is preferred.
    • Proven experience in management accounting, preferably in the hospitality or restaurant industry.
    • Strong analytical skills and expertise in financial modeling and forecasting.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with all levels of staff and management.
    • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, with a keen interest in learning and applying new technologies.
