- Oversee all aspects of new fund onboarding, including coordinating the opening of new bank/broker accounts, liaising with legal advisors, comprehending legal documentation, and supervising data migration from previous administrators (for transitioning funds only).
- Act as the main point of contact for fund stakeholders, including administrators, auditors, legal counsel, regulatory authorities, brokers, and shareholders.
- Review the Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations prepared by the fund accountant to ensure accuracy.
- Interpret and understand fund documents such as operating memoranda, subscription agreements, memoranda of association, and administration agreements.
- Provide training and guidance to new team members (junior staff).
- Review and prepare financial statements for year-end reporting.
- Ensure fund compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Assist with ad-hoc assignments and tasks as necessary.
- Develop and regularly review fund administration/operation procedures.
- Offer feedback on team performance to facilitate managerial assessments.
- Coordinate daily workflow for all accountants to ensure adequate resources.
- Communicate process changes and address issues promptly, developing action plans to prevent recurrence.
- Conduct initial interviews for Associate positions alongside the manager.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in fund operations/administration.
- Demonstrated subject matter expertise (SME) in the relevant area.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English; Mandarin language skills are advantageous.
- Experience with Paxus software is preferred.
