    About the job

    A finance executive job description begins with having excellent accounting and analytical skills, being responsible for handling all financial processes of the organization, implementing financial policies, creating budgets, keeping track of financial transactions, and providing the managerial team with finance reports.


    • Good working attitude and professional work ethic.


    • Good problem-solving skills.


    • Good in Microsoft Excel, Google Spreadsheet.


    • Strong in working independently.


    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to set priorities, complete work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.


    • Excellent communication skills, with fluency (spoken and written) in English.

    Responsibilities

    1. Banking & Payments
    • Transactions in the bank consisting of a few requirements are being adhered accordingly.
    • The completion of bank transactions within the day.

    2. Quickbooks

    • Bank Reconciliation towards Operational Expenditure transactions are required to be completed on a daily basis. As payment has been made, it is expected that all transactions are made known of its nature and purpose.

    3. Process Governance

    • The process guidelines for the company's operational expenditure is to be adhered diligently.
    • Implementation of processes in place to ensure absolute transparency, accountability and control over the expenditures.

    4. Management Accounts

    • The OPEX accounts are required to be finalized by the 4th working day of every month.

    5. Improvement & Enhancement

    • Continuous improvement & enhancement on the SOP of OPEX accounts and its framework.
    • Implementation of new processes to create efficiency in the workflow.
    • Look for more automation solutions to ease the workload.

    6. Problem Solving

    • Accountability and fast response time for enquiries from other departments.
    • Professional and ethical communication.
    • Initiative updates towards priority inquiries within the organization.
    • Initiative towards a disputing customer or supplier and procure a solution for the ease of operation.
    • Resolving issues within the stipulated timeline.
    • Ad-Hoc tasks

    Qualifications

    • Diploma/Bachelor Degree in Accountancy or related discipline.
    • Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Google Sheet.
