    We are looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer to help us design, develop, and maintain computer systems and networks in an organization. The main objective is to ensure that the organization's computer systems are reliable, secure, and efficient. Additionally, IT System Engineers are responsible for troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise with the computer systems and networks. They must also provide support and guidance to end-users to ensure they can use the computer systems effectively.

    The overall goal of an IT System Engineer is to ensure that the organization's computer systems are running smoothly and efficiently to support the organization's goals and objectives.

    Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day operations of an organization's IT infrastructure. This includes installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting hardware and software systems. IT engineers also play a role in ensuring that IT systems are secure and compliant with company policies and regulations.
  • Maintaining and administering existing plant IT applications including clocking systems, door access, ESS, local applications, employee time attendance etc. Housekeeping applications database from time to time and ensure applications compatibility to VAT IT environment.
  • Working closely with operations on shopfloor digitization initiatives to deliver reliable, scalable, and robust digital solutions to improve operations efficiency and effectiveness.
  • IT engineers may be involved in the planning and execution of IT projects. This includes working with project managers to define project scope, develop project plans, and track project progress.
  • Assisting in machine network communications and machine integration activities.
  • Analysing highly complex problems and to deliver practical IT solutions to overcome the problems.
  • Provide IT consultation and second level support for local systems to users when necessary.
  • Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving database, software, and other network and system problems.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of IT systems, processes, and procedures, facilitating knowledge sharing and collaboration within the IT team.
  • Overseeing relationships with IT vendors, evaluating their services, and ensuring they meet the organization's requirements.
  • Minimum Qualification :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
  • Experience in IT operations, systems administration, or network administration
  • Knowledge of hardware and software systems
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Knowledge in Power BI, PowerApp will be a big plus.
  • Prefered 2 years and above with this related job experiences.
  • A self-starter able to work independently but comfortable working in a team environment.
  • Dependable and flexible when necessary.
  • Preferred Qualification :

  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
  • CompTIA A+
  • CompTIA Network+
