    Description

    Role Purpose:
    The function is two-fold: (a) provide end-to-end project management for internal projects executed within the engineering and technical teams. The project engineer handles the planning & execution of NRC projects directly. (b) lead the gatekeeping process for project planning, procurement, execution, and handover.

    Accountabilities:

    • Regular audits to:
    • Identify and recognize areas of KWS compliance.
    • Identify, recognize, and implement KWS "best practices".
    • Identify areas of opportunity & work with the plant to correct them.
    • Works with other plants to identify, develop and implement KWS "best practices".
    • Leads ongoing cross-functional teams to conduct plant savings opportunities analyses.
    • Owns self-development plan and continues the progression.
    • Responsible for Site Daily Meeting Cadence with Tier 1-4 meetings and insures they are healthy for results sustainability.
    • To guard standards and regulations on EHS, QFS, and other fundamentals by participating in and coaching during Leader Led Observations, Safety 7, Golden 6, and other EHS and QFS activities.
    • Provide support and involvement in all internal and external audits. (Refer to the Appendix EHS & QFS for detailed Roles & Responsibilities)

    Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

    • To develop and sustain a reliable investment system to ensure business continuity and effective cost control.
    • To review technical KPIs and perform technical failure analysis for continuous improvement and execution of projects on time and on budget.
    • To lead and develop a comprehensive maintenance system with SAP integration.
    • Support 24/7 run production line. Primary contact point for internal project execution and project management PIC
    • To ensure all the plant projects are carried out as per schedule with strong engagement with stakeholders and deliver quality and correct projects.
    • Formulate and manage asset portfolio with strategic investment and maximize asset performance. Execute internal CAPEX projects to support growth and reliability

    Critical Capability, Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

    • Degree in Mechanical/Chemical/Electrical/Electronic or related discipline with at least 5 years of working experience.
    • Sound practical knowledge of mechanical engineering (rotating equipment, fasteners, bearings, gearbox, valves, thermodynamics, material strength & compatibility, etc.)
    • Practical knowledge of process equipment working mechanism and working principle (fryer, mixing, grinding, canister filling, packing machines, conveyors, etc.)
    • Sound work experience in F&B industries with experience in SAP technical store management in support of entire plant operation.
    • Sound experience in managing CAPEX projects, building URS, negotiation, contractor management, systematic project management, stakeholder management, and clear handover process.
    • Technical experience in the following systems:
    • Digital sensory devices (e.g. capacitive/inductive/ magnetic/photoelectric sensor, electro-pneumatic actuator, etc)
    • Numerical literacy of basic electrical engineering (motor power, electrical load, cable sizing) and process engineering (basic mathematics related to the physics of pressure, temperature, level, force, etc)
    • Preferably with some process literacy in HVAC, compressed air supply, utility gas supply, potable and wastewater treatment
    • Exposed and have hands-on experience with pillar approached performance management (KWS), CI tools, analysis tools, sound problem-solving skills, and coaching skills.
    • Good leadership skills and capable of managing a budget with critical thinking and strong people management skill.
    • Six Sigma Green Belt will be added advantage.
