    About the role

    This is an exciting opportunity to join the Global External Manufacturing Strategy Management team as we are looking for Strategic External Manufacturing Manager – OSAT to drive the overall long term strategic cooperation, high level external manufacturing roadmap alignment and data analytics related in this region.

    What you will do


    • Develop and implement long-term Backend (BE) sourcing strategies in this region.


    • Cultivate and manage strong relationships with foundries at a senior level to ensure effective sourcing.


    • Collaborate closely with product groups to understand their needs and requirements.


    • Actively contribute to aligning the sourcing strategy with the overall industrial strategy.


    • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of product engineering, NPI, technology platform development or semiconductor value-chain and markets.


    • Identify opportunities for value addition and sourcing scope expansion to support new business groups or new product development.


    • Collaborate with sourcing managers to optimize cost, quality, delivery, service, and technologies, and provide accurate forecasts.


    • Take complete ownership and accountability for the sourcing value proposition and product integration with the product groups.


    • Act as a trusted advisor to both internal and external stakeholders.

    What you will need

  • Bsc/Msc in EE Engineering, Physics, Industrial Management, or any related field
  • Minimum 6 years of subcon NPI or IC package development or sourcing experience
  • Proven experience in managing high-level supplier relationships.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the semiconductor foundry market.
  • With IC Package Development & NPI experiences are preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Drive and lead foundry and supplier technology development.
  • Collaborate effectively with different team and suppliers across regions and remotely.
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
  • Technical skills on front-end product will be added advantage.
