Open Position: Team Lead, Data Scientist (Renowned Insurance Company)

A Renowned Insurance Company is currently hiring Team Lead, Data Scientist to join them in the Kuala Lumpur office.

Key responsibilities include:

• Possess Master's or PHD in Computer Science/Statistics/Mathematic or other quantitative field.
  
• More than 5 years' experience transforming data collections and developing statistical models
  
• Manage a team of data scientists, machine learning engineers and big data specialists
  
• Lead data mining and collection procedures.
  
• Developing data sets and models, including creating statistical analysis techniques to extract knowledge from the data.
  
• Standardisation of methods and algorithms used across the business unit.
  
• Recommending solutions to business problems by analysing data and providing recommendations based on findings.
  
• Experience of implementing quality assurance of software-based processes and analytical outputs.
  
• Advanced analytics tools and languages to analyse large data sets from multiple data sources.
  
• Strong organizational, leadership skills and communication skills
