    The Retail function provides Personal and Business Banking customers with financial solutions tailored to their needs. We help them manage their money wisely and meet their financial goals through an extensive range of products and services. These include deposit, insurance, secured and unsecured loans, investment and wealth advisory services.

    We design and provide products and services that empower our customers to enjoy greater banking convenience while they extract more value from their money. In particular, we are focused on promoting and developing healthy saving and investment practices across generations.

    Job Responsibilities

  • Contribute to launching proposition initiatives and implementing business strategies in Privilege Banking (PV), Wealth Banking (WB) in alignment with Group Directives to achieve targets.
  • Drive the development of PV, WB in establishing UOB as the leading and preferred premium bank for affluent segment.
  • Develop, plan and implement business strategies to achieve portfolio growth in terms of customer count, asset under management and improve customer experience.
  • Drive the development of business initiatives and on-going management of propositions to grow portfolio and profitability of the strategic Mass Affluent and Affluent (High Net Worth) segment.
  • Strategize and implement marketing activities to support the Wealth Business such as Deposits, Investments and Insurance. Manage a project or campaign independently.
  • Plan and execute an effective communication strategy driven by market and consumer insights within allocated budget for campaigns and projects, aligning with business objectives specified.
  • Participate in collaboration initiatives with other Group Business Segments (Private Bank, Business Banking, Commercial Banking, Corporate Banking, etc) to maximize new acquisition and frontline-synergy.
  • Plan and execute customers and business partners appreciation events to support the privileged lifestyle pillar of affluent banking.
  • Execute UOB group standards/ control initiatives to ensure adherence to guidelines.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders including Retail Distribution, Channel, Product Teams, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, etc to facilitate development and implementation of initiatives and projects.
  • Effectively train, motivate and develop junior managers within the team, where applicable.

  • Preferably with minimum 5 years banking/ segment management/ product management experience
