- Your role will involve taking charge of the technical aspects of our global technology infrastructure, ensuring it's optimized to meet our customers' needs. This means designing and building applications that align with our customers' requirements.
- Reviewing and monitoring current engineering efforts and previously developed applications to maintain smooth operation of our software.
- Collaborating closely with our internal product teams to seamlessly integrate our technology infrastructure with third-party software. You'll be responsible for conceptualizing and developing the necessary applications to achieve this integration.
- Offering support for platform-related issues and addressing reported issues from other teams to ensure quick resolution.
- Collaborating with Product and UX teams to design, implement, and deploy systems that enhance the business travel experience.
- Playing a pivotal role in our Engineering team, contributing to the establishment of best engineering practices.
- Driving our engineering efforts from good to exceptional, aiming for continuous improvement and innovation.
- Over 5 years of hands-on experience in Web Development using React, Go, and
- Proficiency in data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving skills.
- A deep appreciation for the complexities of operating large-scale systems in production, with designs and implementations that reflect this understanding.
- Solid grasp of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and REST architecture, with practical experience in RESTful implementation.
- Familiarity and experience with Core Java, Spring Framework, Hibernate, and various design patterns in Java & Spring. Plus, proficiency in Git, release management, and relational databases such as MySQL.
- Bonus points if you've worked with Google Cloud Platform.
- A proven track record of delivering high-quality engineering solutions across different layers of the tech stack.
- Strong experience in designing distributed systems and implementing best practices.
- Expertise in continuous integration, test automation, and monitoring.
- Hands-on experience in application deployment and ensuring high availability.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team, spanning various aspects of our core services.
