- Performing GL journal entry review to ensure it is in line with SOX requirement in accordance to journal type / nature.
- Verify and justify all numbers against the source documents
- Ensure journal entry is posted accurately to the correct GL account by its nature
- All journal to be reviewed within the agreed turnaround time
- Support monthly or yearly SOX testing by providing all relevant documentations
- Manage/ monitor query resolution related to journal entry
- Assist in developing and implementingprocess improvementsto meet business goals.
- Perform any ad-hoc tasks and responsibilities which the superior may assign from time to time
- Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance field
- At least 2 years experience in a Finance / SSC / Audit environment
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- High level of accuracy, numerical ability and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadline and longer working hours during month-end close
- Proficiency in English
- A team player and able to promote teamwork among the team
- Flexibility, ability to deal with ambiguity and change
- Computer literate, preferably with Excel spreadsheet knowledge
