About your new role

We are looking for a Senior / Full stack developer with hands-on coding experience to join various projects for our global insurance client. We welcome candidates in other business domains but interested in exploring systems and business in bank and financial industry.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain robust and scalable web and mobile applications for insurance business.
• Conduct requirements study and recommendations of technical solutions.
• Prepare technical documents.
• Prepare test plan, test cases and perform system test.
• Prepare scripts for automated test.
• Support UAT, deployment, troubleshooting, and go-live activities.
• Perform investigation on incidents.
• Provide advice on problem solving.
  
  

Required Skills & Experiences

• University degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years' working experience in front-end applications development.
• Hands-on skill in Angular, NodeJs and ETL.
• Experience in MongoDB, MySQL and Databrick.
• Experience in using cloud services, such as container-based development.
• Experience in DevOps and CI/CD tool is a plus.
• Knowledge in Life Insurance products and business flow is a plus.
• Good communications skill in both English and Chinese.
• Good team player; self-initiative, pro-active and 'can do' attitude
• Skilled in below area is a plus: MongoDB, Glue, Athena, Databrick, Data Mart, Data Lake, Talend, Informatica, Angular, Java, Node
