1. PROCESS DESIGN AND OPTIMIZATION
-Involved in designing front-end azeotropic distillation process line and mechanical detailed design of distillation tower which complies ASME and PTS standards. Successfully turned wastewater into value profit product with 40% cost reduction.

2. PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND COMMISSIONING
- Involved with project engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) for two major turnaround project which are:
- Petron P1 Alarm PLC System Upgrade 
- BASF-Petronas Provision of OCC-SIS Instrument Maintenance and Inspection.
-   EDRA Tuah 2,242MW CCGT Electrical Heat Tracing 
-    Sarawak Energy CCPP EHT and Insulation

3. PROCESS INSTRUMENTATION
- Involved with process instrumentation calibration and inspection, PLC Programming, troubleshooting and instrument commissioning.

4. PROCESS ECONOMIC EVALUATION
- Involved with economic evaluation for most of my study projects which includes (but not limited to) product marketability, process feasibility, breakeven point and increasing product value.

5. PERIODIC MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE
- Involved in periodic mechanical maintenance in a palm oil refinery (I.O.I Edible Oils) with Kanban and Kaizen managing method’s implementation.

6.     ELECTRICAL HEAT TRACING AND THERMAL SOLUTIONS
- Involved in Engineering, Procurement, Installation and Commissioning of Total Pipe Thermal Solutions for Gas Turbine system in various Power Plants.

7. ELECTRICAL POWER DISTRIBUTIONS 

-Involved wpith pre-commissioning and commissioning of ABB 11kV switchgear, ABB 400V switchgears at substation, 33kV/11kV JSHP Delta-Y transformer,11kV/415kV JSHP Delta-Y transformer, 11kV MV Capacitor bank and 230 VAC UPS System.

8. INSTRUMENTATION & CONTROL

- Involved with pre-commissioning and testing of Yokogawa smart transmitters, Siemens S7 PLC, Rosemount Smart transmitters, and temperature elements, KOSO Valve positioners, Foxboro valve positioners, and Rotork solenoid valves.
- Involved in loop testing, 9-points calibration verification test, valve stroke test, End-to end -
equipment and alarm testing for Distributed Control System.

• Overseeing Electrical & Instrumentation construction and projects for Pelican ASU Gas Plant Project for INTEL Malaysia in Bayan Lepas, Penang. Taken multiple roles focusing project and construction phase from MDR, engineering, construction & commissioning. Helps project and construction manager in executing construction and reporting progress to higher management.
  • Involved with FAT of metering Skid for early nitrogen gas supply and FAT for ASU Plant Distributed Control System. 
  • Involved in design and engineering of whole ASU Plant Cableway and ducting. 
  • Involved in commissioning of project’s early gas supply (Underground pipeline and metering skid) and Backup Supply area (Tank farm) for Nitrogen, Oxygen and Argon gas supply.
  • Involved with commissioning of smart flow computer for billing of nitrogen early gas supply.

  • Participate in review of electrical, earthing, protection & control philosophy, and design standards by referring to international standard code.
  • Participate in electrical equipment sizing calculation review, equipment specification & data sheets.
  • Participate in preparation of material requisitions, vendor’s offers, technical bid analysis, Vendor drawing reviews, upstream disciplines input reviews, Third party deliverable reviews.
  • Participate in review of electrical I/O list, Interface list, interconnection wiring diagrams, communication network, substation design and electrical facilities.
  • Participate in ETAP fault current simulation and 3D models reviews.
  • Involved with design, engineering, testing, and commissioning of UL/FM Cerberus Pro FC924 Fire Fighting system and TXR-320 Fire Supressant system.
