GM of Operations & Sales Kuala Lumpur- Malaysia Spa Ceylon- Current position

Responsible for 5 outlets: Approx. 10’000 sq ft Retail Space: MYR500k Per Month Sales: 14 Staff.

Adjusted sales target to accommodate the pandemic, increased margin, and reduced costs

in line with the approved budget by the board.

Responsible for P&L. Inherited a model running at a loss of 15% a month. Stopped

that quickly and improved it to a breakeven figure within 3 months.

Upgraded IRS system leading to highly improved stock counts, monitoring, ordering

scheduling, CRM and loyalty programs.

Reestablished training and motivational incentives, ‘always be closing’ ‘employee of

the week’, ‘team of the month’. Concentrated on collaboration and increasing sales

‘everywhere’.

Recruiting, retraining, monitoring and (if necessary) terminating. Improved product

knowledge and increased sales skills.

Analysed existing outlet's location and demographics which led to the relocation of

one store. Trialled ‘enhancements’ of retail interiors to attract new clients.
