A highly organized and flexible Financial Mathematics graduate aiming to use my knowledge in finance and statistics to fulfil the position at your esteemed company.

I am currently employed at the Malaysian Bureau of Labour Statistics (MBLS), which operates under the Department of Statistics Malaysia (DOSM). My assignment in the Smart Integration and Statistics Section involves working extensively with data. This includes cleaning and standardizing data obtained from other agencies to integrate it seamlessly into the Social Protection Data database. Additionally, I've helped the team by assisting in book publishing, notably playing a role in publishing recent works like ‘Employee Wages Statistics (Formal Sector)’ for Q1 & Q2 2023 and ‘Annual Economic Statistics 2022’.

In addition to that, I concluded a 6-month internship training at Pejabat MARA Daerah Besut (PMD Besut) on January 26, 2023. During this period, I primarily undertook administrative tasks and handled various loan-related responsibilities. My daily duties involved composing letters to customers, processing claim payments, recording received bills, and documenting loan applications in the loan registration book. Additionally, I was responsible for calculating the rent balance for former MARA tenants. These tasks significantly contributed to the improvement of my writing and typing skills, as well as my proficiency in Microsoft Office. Moreover, as part of my internship, I developed a data entry form system for rent arrears notices using Python as my mini-project. Despite the initial challenge, being my first experience with the programming language, I successfully learned and completed the system. This experience not only enhanced my technical skills but also demonstrated my ability to adapt and learn new technologies. Furthermore, I was trained to assist customers applying for loans, which further honed my communication skills. Overall, this internship provided me with valuable experiences and skills that I am eager to apply in a professional setting.

I have recently obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in Science (Financial Mathematics) from Universiti Malaysia Terengganu. Throughout my academic journey, I completed several core courses, including Statistics, Advanced Statistics, Operations Research with SAS, Complex Analysis, Stochastic Modelling & Applications, and Industrial Training, achieving an A grade in each subject. These courses not only provided me with a strong foundation in finance but also equipped me with programming skills in SAS, C++, and Maple. I am eager to bring my knowledge, skills, and commitment to excellence to your company’s innovative environment.
