• Responsible for the overall supply chain management and monitor the storage and distribution of goods.
• Oversee the movement, distribution and storage of materials in an organization and control the flow of incoming and outgoing finished products to ensure customers receive on time.
• Prepare reports for upper management; negotiate shipping and supplier costs, and work to improve the efficiency of the company's supply chain.
• Hire, train and evaluate employees and prepare worker schedules and ensure warehousing and distribution workers, logistics staff and the supply chain process are following all the rules and regulations.
• Oversee warehouse, inventory control, material handling, customer service, transportation, purchasing, and sourcing.
• Responsible for managing the execution, direction, and coordination of all transportation matters within the organization. This includes managing budgets, organizing schedules & routes, ensuring that vehicles are safe and meet legal requirements, and making sure that drivers are aware of their duties.
• Embraces procurement and supplier management, materials management and manufacturing, inventory management and warehousing, distribution and transport, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation, customer service and procurement.
• Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and consumers.
• Keep track of quality, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency.
• Arrange warehouse, distributions, plan routes and process shipments.
• Resolve any arising problems or complaints.
• Supervise, coach and train the workforce.
• Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets.
• Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements.
• Comply with laws, regulations ISO requirements.
• Oversee the departments that receive materials and supplies into the business.
• Manage the flow of materials and finished goods.
• Implement process related to the organization supply chain from time to time.
