• Assisting with communicating to potential candidates for potential positions via inbound calling, WhatsApp text messages, LinkedIn messages and e-mail writing

• Professional Focus: This unique program focuses to motivate Malaysian graduates by offering both on-the-job practical and theoretical training, as well as employment after the program ended. This program was built based on the German model of dual vocational training as Germany’s commercial economy and offers multinational companies (MNCs) a well-trained workforce with extensive practical, theoretical and personal skills. At a very young age after SPM, I was exposed to a deep understanding of how Swiss based MNC (Panalpina) executed their operational tasks in a logistic and supply chain point-of-view.

• Relevant Assignments: My assignments varied as the program consists of a rotational model which means that it is between practical (75%) and theoretical (25%) training. During the theoretical learning, I was studying at GMI (2-4 weeks) before going on for practical on the job training in the company (that lasted for 6-12 weeks). Among the theoretical subjects that I studied were accounting, economics, logistics management, international logistics laws and communication. All the assignments given are relevant to what I have to implement during my practical training at Port Tanjung Pelepas, KLIA Cargo Village and Panalpina’s main HQ office at Ara Damansara.

• Achievements: I was among the 7 people that were short-listed into the 3rd batch of the GDVT program at GMI. We were placed into a few International German Companies that were based in Malaysia such as DB-Shenker, Bosch, and Hartrodt. I was offered an apprenticeship with Panalpina (current name: DSV) along with my other colleague. I obtained a Malaysian Skills Advanced Diploma, free tuition fee and a German Chamber (AHK) Certificate as I graduated from this 3-years program.
