Ganga Devi Nagarajah

As an ESL teacher of more than 10 years, I prepare course materials and design lessons that cover all aspects of the English language, whether written or verbal. I keep track of student progress and customize individualized plans for students with special requirements. I am also responsible for creating a positive class environment and encouraging students to reach their learning goals.

I have a master's degree in Teaching English as a Second Language and over five years of extensive experience working as an ESL Instructor / Teacher for a private language and corporate centre in Johor Bahru and Selangor, Malaysia. I taught students proper grammar, pronunciation, reading, speaking, listening and writing composition. I also taught classes on preparatory of IELTS, TOEIC, TOEFL, GSCE, IGCSE English, Cambridge English examinations, Business English theory for corporate clients, EAL, and ESP both online and offline. 

I have the knowledge and experience needed to put together presentations and to teach students about the origin of the English language and about some of the changes that have taken place throughout the years. I have the passion and creativity to give lectures that generate interest and leave the students wanting to learn more. 
I have outstanding research skills and a real interesting in teaching others about the English language to help them understand its history better. 
Moreover, I have excellent verbal, listening and written communication skills in English which would enable me to manage a class of multicultural pupils. Above all, I possess good organization abilities, and enthusiastic and committed towards my work and responsibilities.
