Huoy Chee Chai

Jennie Chai Huoy Chee is a scientist who has been learning knowledge & skills in various fields, such as microbiology, genetic engineering, downstream processing and pharmaceutical. She is passionate about the research and development, data analysis and technology. She always equip herself with extra skills including coding (Python), data analysis (IBM SPSS & MySQL) and biocommunication. She also conducts business and marketing assessment. Her goals is to apply her knowledge and skills in her career and projects. She always self-motivated, detail-oriented, independent, organized and responsible candidate and team player. 

During my degree in biotechnology, I have gained knowledge, skills and experience of handling bacteria cells and fungi. It helps to accelerate my adaptability and engagement in the job roles.

I’m working as a R & D executive in Hovid Berhad, a leading manufacturer and largest pharma exporter in Malaysia. My job responsibilities include method development, method verification, method validation and results analysis for over 500 pharmaceutical products using instruments, including HPLC and GC-MS. Through these roles, I have been enhancing my ability to pay attention to details, think from different perspectives and be creative when designing and setting up the experiments to produce fast, reliable and accurate results and records.
