My name is Ka Yin.I graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University with a Bachelor of Science degree (2.1 honours) in Food and Nutrition in 2013. 

Having completed a degree, I was employed by Weetabix Ltd for a year to support their China project which assisted their products launching in China market. I had been involved in an NPD project with R&D which has assisted in the formulation development.

Having completed my contract with Weetabix Ltd, I was employed by The Hut Group as a regulatory affairs officer, within these several years, I was responsible for products launching in different markets, and I was involved in NPD projects to ensure products compliance to country legislation. In addition, I assisted with market access for a company that is responsible for identifying the trading barriers to ensure products trade smoothly global. After that, I worked in a pet food company that is called MPM Products. I have worked on different projects for market entry, and it provided me an in-depth regulatory knowledge of pet food. Then, I worked at Campden BRI. Working in a consultation service is given me intensive experience and helped to build my knowledge in different areas.

Proven expertise in managing a wide range of regulatory tasks, including product registration, label review, product formulation review, and claim evaluation. Skilled in providing timely and accurate ad hoc regulatory guidance. Recognized for delivering comprehensive labelling training courses, ensuring compliance within organizations. In a recent consulting role, provided valuable strategic advice to prominent blue chip companies. Additionally, collaborated with government agencies on food safety research projects, contributing to industry advancements.
