As a graduate of Management Information Systems with significant working experience, I have
observed that many SMEs and government agencies have substantial opportunities to enhance productivity. I have witnessed a common trend where some organizations lack in-depth IT knowledge, struggle to define their requirements effectively, and end up with vendor solutions that fail to meet their needs. 

Numerous companies and agencies in Malaysia lack an established IT policy, resulting in
a lack of enforcement and consistency in technology implementation. With my expertise in
Management Information Systems, I am well-equipped to address these challenges. I bring a

analyse organizational requirements accurately.

In my role, I have overseen the outsourced support services contracts, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to end-user companies. This involved managing a team of support staff, providing guidance, training, and conducting performance evaluations to drive productivity and excellence among team members. To optimize the IT infrastructure of each client, I evaluated and recommended solutions from various vendors based on clients' unique requirements. By carefully assessing their needs, I ensured that the selected solutions would enhance their operations and align with their business objectives.

A crucial aspect of my responsibilities was conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to guarantee the successful implementation of new systems and applications. This involved thorough testing and validation to ensure that the solutions met the clients' expectations and functioned seamlessly within their existing environment. I actively contributed to the development of comprehensive IT policies for clients' organizations, focusing on promoting security, efficiency, and compliance. In addition, I have taken on the responsibility of administering high availability cluster and disaster recovery products such as DoubleTake, Neverfail, Platespin, and Zerto. By leveraging these tools, I have been able to assist establishing robust and resilient systems, minimizing downtime, and mitigating the potential impact of disasters. These solutions have proven instrumental in ensuring reliable and uninterrupted operations for the organizations I have served. With my proficiency in system infrastructure and expertise in implementing high availability and disaster recovery solutions, I have consistently supported and enhanced the IT infrastructure for various organizations.

During my tenure at Micron, I gained invaluable experience working in a multinational company (MNC)environment, where the delivery of services is held to the highest standards of quality and compliance. 

My role supporting plant operations and security systems allowed me to witness firsthand the importance of delivering exceptional service that meets the stringent standards set by the organization. 

Working closely with teammates from headquarters in Boise, Idaho, US, I learned how to collaborate effectively across different locations/time zones and leverage the expertise of colleagues to achieve common goals. This experience taught me the importance of clear communication, coordination, and leveraging resources to deliver outstanding service to internal stakeholders. 

I also gained a deep understanding of the significance of quality assurance and compliance in an MNC environment. By integrating compliance protocols into the systems and applications I developed, I followed the company's commitment to meeting industry standards and regulations. This focus on quality and compliance ensures the organization's operations run smoothly, securely, and in alignment with the highest standards.

Overall, my experience at Micron provided me with valuable insights into delivering services in MNC where meeting standard, quality, and compliance are paramount. I carry this knowledge and expertise with me, enabling me to excel in future endeavours and uphold the same level of excellence and adherence to standards wherever I go.

I spearheaded the implementation of the first-ever server infrastructure in the company, transforming IT from a traditional environment to a paperless landscape. This revolutionary initiative completely reshaped the operational landscape, leveraging the power of technology to streamline processes and enhance productivity. To ensure we adopted the most suitable solution for our organization, I conducted a thorough evaluation of competing products, specifically MS Exchange and Lotus Domino. Through this comprehensive assessment, we were able to negotiate costs and significantly reduce expenses from RM400K to RM200K, optimizing our choices and achieving substantial savings. 

One of my key accomplishments was the successful introduction of MS Back Office with MS Exchange and file sharing capabilities. This integration enabled seamless communication and efficient document management, revolutionizing collaboration practices and enhancing productivity across the organization. In order to ensure secure user management and streamlined network connectivity for all clients, I configured, deployed, and set up MS Active Directory. This critical component played a pivotal role in enhancing system security, simplifying user administration processes, and establishing a cohesive network infrastructure. 

Recognizing the importance of empowering our officers with the knowledge and skills to leverage IT products effectively, I conducted comprehensive training programs. These initiatives equipped our workforce with the necessary competencies to maximize the benefits of the implemented technologies, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and proficiency. Another significant achievement was ensuring Y2K compliance readiness. By conducting thorough assessments and implementing necessary updates and remediation measures, we proactively mitigated potential risks associated with the turn of the millennium, safeguarding our systems and operations. 

My exceptional performance in these endeavours earned commendation from the CEO, including an offer to transfer to the US branch. While appreciative of the recognition, I ultimately decided to pursue a new opportunity at Micron Semiconductor in Singapore, demonstrating my commitment to personal and professional growth. This collective experience highlights my ability to revolutionize infrastructure, optimize vendor relationships, and drive organizational efficiency through the implementation of cutting-edge technologies. Additionally, it underscores my expertise in project management, training facilitation, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
