Worldwide Contamination Control Audit leader, Global ESD leader and Project Leader of Clean Room and Welding Room. 

Notable accomplishments:

• Proposed and implemented state-of-the-art design for Clean Room and Welding Room. Collaborated with Facilities team in Clean Room baking, purging, balancing and certification process in < 6 days.
• Collaborated with cross-functional teams and led successful ANSI/ESD S20.20 certification and recertification for two Thailand facilities in timely and cost-effective manner.
• Collaborated with Facilities team the creation of technical documentation of good practices of Clean Room design, protocol, dimension and recommended instrument for monitoring from infrastructure and cleanliness perspective.
• Collaborated with Facilities team and other cross-functional team to design and specify New Clean Room Materials and Process Lab in Thailand facility. Managed to come out with one of the best lab’s designs and future upgradeable designs.

SENIOR MANAGER (2014 – 2021)

Leader of Cleanliness and ESD Control team in Western Digital Malaysia and Western Digital Thailand. Responsible to reduce Contamination and ESD line excursion and maintain production downtime within budget, investigation for internal & customer failures, drive and provide Corrective Actions and Preventive Actions. Supervised and mentored 3 Managers, 15 Engineers and 70 Technicians.

Notable Accomplishments:

• Led unification project of Contamination and ESD Best In Class practices / protocols / procedure / specification during integration of Western Digital and HGST. Whole project finished well within budget and ahead of time (within 13 months).
• Led Worldwide Contamination Control Audit team consisting of cross-site (7-9) members and covered nine sites globally. Results were significant to each site as yields increased and Field Failures went down significantly. 
• Demonstrated capability to develop talents of Western Digital team, cultivating innovations and grew it to become center of excellent for Contamination and ESD independently. Gained respect and trust from other departments.
• Awarded 2 patents (Hard Disk Drive Top Cover Removal, Disk Clamp And Motor Hub Cleaning With Stamping Adhesive) and Invention Disclosure (VCM Top Plate With Chamfer Hole To Reduce Post Scratch).

Notable Accomplishments:

• Leadership role in providing Contamination ESD input, design review and process / tool qualification in Hard Disk Drive & Head Stack assembly automation project.
• Led and grew team to become Contamination ESD Process & Tool Development Center for HDD through internal training and succession plan.

Awarded 3 patents (Screw Driver Sleeve Finder, Hard Drive Assembly Tools For Evacuating Particles, Head Disk Assembly Vacuum Cleaning Machine For Manufacturing Of HDD) and Trade Secret (Auto Pivot Cleaning Machine)
