About Marvin Goh:

Hello, I am a final year student at TARUMT studying Information Technology. I particularly enjoyed learning about the UNIX operating system where I managed users, creating file systems, defining backup and recovery procedures all on the terminal. 

I am looking for an internship / job opportunity where I can indulge myself in working as a database administrator or a system analyst where I can practice and apply my knowledge in IT.

Experience

  • Worked as a Data Entry specialist for my parent’s company. Dealt with handling Invoices, Delivery Orders and Quotations. As a result, I am proficient in both Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel as well as “SQL Financial Accounting” software to a degree.
  • Worked as a part-time cashier for MyNews.com stretching over a period of 3 months. Besides manning the cash register, also checked inventory stock for daily items and maintained cleanliness of the overall store.
  • Worked as a Assistant Support Engineer at Scientific & Technical Products Sdn Bhd from November 2022 until January 2023 as part of my internship program where I assisted in training, installation of projects and worked closely with the technical team to solve any technical problems.
