Md.Shabbir Hossain

I am currently an Assistant Professor specializing in Civil Engineering at Heriot-Watt University (Malaysia Campus).  I am in the teaching profession for over ten years. In addition to this, I have a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering, an M.Eng, and a BSc in Civil Engineering. My expertise is in the field of artificial intelligence and its application to hydrological problems such as dam failures, flooding, and hydropower/green energy. My research also includes- optimization using swarm intelligence and heuristic algorithms.
