About Mika Enriquez:
I’m a Chemical-Gas Engineering graduate from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, proudly sponsored by the JPA-PIDN scholarship. My career began with Schlumberger, where I served as a Wireline Field Engineer across Southeast Asia, delivering high-impact services in both evaluation and production domains for offshore operations. These experiences shaped my ability to thrive in multicultural, high-performance environments, working seamlessly with global teams under pressure.
I later transitioned into the commercial energy sector with Petron Malaysia Refining & Marketing Berhad as a Commercial Business Analyst (LPG)—a role I held during the height of the COVID-19 Movement Control Order (MCO). Despite the constraints of remote work and supply chain disruptions, I led strategic planning and budgeting (CAPEX, OPEX, volume forecasting), developed performance KPIs adopted by senior leadership, and spearheaded the successful nationwide rollout of Gasul@SS (LPG at Service Station)—commissioning 100 stations across Malaysia, a pioneering initiative that expanded LPG accessibility and boosted brand presence.
During my career break, I invested in upskilling through two key initiatives:
Attended the Microsoft AI for Data Analytics Bootcamp, gaining hands-on training in Power BI, machine learning fundamentals, and AI-driven business insights.
Completed the Google Data Analytics certification (Coursera), strengthening my capabilities in data cleaning, visualization, and decision-making.
I’m highly analytical, systematic, and passionate about continuous learning. I bring a collaborative spirit and a global mindset to every challenge—whether it’s optimizing operations, driving commercial strategy, or translating data into decisions. I’m always eager to contribute to organizations that value innovation, diversity, and impact.
Let’s connect if you’re looking for someone who blends technical depth with commercial strategy—and who thrives in multicultural, fast-paced environments.

Career Break
Aug 2021 - Jul 2025
During a career break spent across Johor, Kuala Lumpur, Melaka, and Perak, I actively pursued future-ready skills while serving as the sole financial manager and relocation lead for my family. This included liaising with multiple real estate agents to coordinate multi-state housing logistics and supporting my spouse in his role as a Project Engineer, assisting with Microsoft Office tools—particularly Excel—for project tracking, budgeting, and reporting.
I completed the Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate via Coursera, gaining hands-on experience in data cleaning, visualization, and decision-making using Excel, SQL, and Tableau. I was also selected as one of 55 participants (from over 170 applicants) for the Microsoft AI for My Future Bootcamp, a national initiative by TalentCorp, Microsoft, and Biji-Biji Initiative. The program focused on AI-driven insights, machine learning fundamentals, and Power BI applications—equipping me with strategic tools to bridge engineering, analytics, and commercial decision-making.
