Mouad Sadallah

Dr Mouad Sadallah holds a PhD in Accounting from Tunku Puteri Intan Safinaz School of Accountancy, College of Business (COB), Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM). His research interests are
accounting, Islamic finance, zakat, taxation, crowdfunding and Islamic governance. Mouad has published a few articles in indexed international journals such as the International Journal of Ethics and Systems (Emerald), Journal of Islamic Marketing (Emerald) and Journal of Islamic Accounting and Business Research (Emerald).

Three years of experience as a full-time accounting, economics and management lecturer for second and final-year students. As an experienced lecturer, I have developed vital lesson planning, delivery, and assessment skills. I am adept at adapting my teaching style to meet the diverse needs of my students and creating a supportive and engaging learning environment. Throughout my career, I have developed and implemented innovative teaching strategies that have resulted in improved student outcomes. For instance, I designed and taught a project-based learning curriculum that not only helped students master content knowledge but also developed necessary 21st-century skills such as critical thinking and problem-solving. I am also skilled in classroom management and have a proven track record of creating a safe and positive learning environment. Overall, my passion for teaching and commitment to my students' success makes me an ideal candidate for a lecturer position. The reason for resigning is the completion of doctoral studies.

My PhD in accounting education has equipped me with a deep understanding of accounting education's theoretical and practical aspects. Through my doctoral research, I gained expertise in curriculum design, program evaluation, and student assessment in accounting education. My thesis focused on business tax compliance behaviour involving extensive data analysis and modelling. As a result, I have strong analytical skills and proficiency in using relevant software and tools. As a result, I have experience in conducting and interpreting educational research. My PhD degree has also enabled me to teach accounting courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Overall, my PhD degree in accounting education has provided me with the necessary knowledge, skills, and passion for contributing to the field of accounting education as a lecturer.
