I have 8 years in IT and 5 years as an regional manager for a tech company. I have a broad exposure in Servicedesk, networking, Enterprise tools migration and integration, audits (PCI-DSS, MAS TRM), data processing, and a little bit of cybersecurity overview. I built the policy for regional entity and managed budgets while carrying regional helpdesk manager role as i was the acting HOD for two different entities at that time.
I've built up a start-up company and expanding the market for the business (particularly involved in IT software integrations/migrations for M&A, hire to retire, proposing budgets and OKRs for the department) I've expanded a tech IT department company from 400 to 120 staffs.
I've managed region/global engineers/subject matter experts with about 15 people at one time. I'm looking forward to utilise my knowledge and experience, to strategise towards digitalization whilst building career progression for the team.
Experience
I have experience in various business background that includes Telco, F&B, GLC & Tech as the leader in IT. Have driven a region wide team, building fundamentals in contact centre and start ups. Involves with security, infrastructures, business operations and service desks.
- Leading service desk operations
- Mandate fundamentals for Internal IT and Shared Service Centre operation
- Monitor team and operation performance as well as Quality Assurance for the Service desk team
- New market planning, support and workforce implementation
- PIC in IT for new verticals in the business (M&A)
- Scale up IT infrastructure region wide
- Leading software migration and project management (For Business ops & internal IT tools)
- Incident response person in charge for SSC and Internal IT region wide
- Implement 1st-level service desk team for the region
- Provide internal IT training and end user training for new tools and change management
- Collaborate with global team on access, tools, and support for servicedesk in APAC, infrastructure planning, internal identity management, Cloud services and Security/Info Sec team.
- In accordance to the risk governance region wide (MAS/TRM) as well as ensuring the operational compliance with regulations and internal controls are consistently adhered.
