Muhammad Ikhwan Nizam

A young Graduate Engineer with 1 year of experience in Chemical and Environmental Industries. With a strong background in Chemical Engineering and Environmental Management, he has consistently demonstrated a great ability to learn and adapt to the work environment. He is a strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving and communication skills. He is passionate about HSE, R&D, production and process design. He is a team player who excels in fast-paced and dynamic environments. He always seeks new challenges and growth opportunities. I have worked as a Protégé in the Engineering and Business Development department at UMW Corporation Sdn. Bhd. in Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Malaysia, since November 2022. In this role, I have conducted market feasibility and viability studies, researched sustainable mobility solutions, liaised with stakeholders, and presented to clients on green and renewable energy.

Previously, I worked as an Industrial Wastewater Intern at Bio Enviro Industries Sdn. Bhd. in Kuala Langat, Selangor, Malaysia, from August 2021 to October 2021. I troubleshooted wastewater issues, assisted in designing wastewater treatment plants, and conducted daily effluent monitoring.

Before that, I worked as a QAQC Intern at KCC Paint Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. in Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia, from February 2019 to June 2019. I monitored paint properties, performed color matching, helped with product development, and facilitated the Industrial Effluent Treatment System team.

Overall, I have gained a diverse set of skills and experiences, including research, troubleshooting, and communication skills in various industries.

I have completed a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering with Honours from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) in Permatang Pauh, Penang, Malaysia, between September 2019 and August 2022. My final CGPA is 3.92, and have received various awards, including the Vice Chancellor Award (1st Class), Best Student Award in Chemical Engineering with Environment Programme, and Lecturers' Choice Award: Most Active Student, among others.

Prior to my Bachelor's Degree, I have also completed a Diploma in Chemical Engineering at UiTM in Pasir Gudang, Johor, Malaysia, between September 2016 and June 2019, with a final CGPA of 3.84. I also received several awards during this period, including the Vice Chancellor Award (1st Class) and Best Academic Award.

Additionally, I have won various awards in several competitions, including the Best Presenter and Gold Award in Science Invention & Innovation Competition 2022, High Prestige Gold Award in Virtual Asia Innovation Show 2022 (Academicians and Industries category), and Gold Award in Virtual Asia Innovation Show 2022 (College/University category), among others.

Overall, I humbly can summarize that I have demonstrated exceptional academic and extracurricular performance throughout my academic journey, showcasing my strong leadership, innovation, and academic skills.
