I am a Chemical Engineering professional with over 7 years of experience in industrial wastewater and effluent treatment plant (ETP) operations. I specialize in maintaining stable treatment processes, optimizing plant performance, and ensuring compliance with Malaysia’s Industrial Effluent Regulations 2009 (Standard A). 

Currently, I work as a Senior Utility Officer at Recron Malaysia, overseeing the daily operation of an ETP treating more than 500 m³/day of industrial wastewater. My work focuses on monitoring treatment parameters, troubleshooting process issues, managing chemical dosing, and maintaining regulatory compliance with the Department of Environment (DOE). 

My background also includes wastewater treatment system design, IECS studies, jar testing, and plant commissioning, giving me both technical and operational experience in industrial wastewater management. 

I am passionate about improving wastewater treatment efficiency, environmental compliance, and sustainable industrial operations.

I have over 7 years of experience in industrial wastewater treatment and environmental management. I began my career as a Project Engineer at Watertech Chemistry Sdn Bhd, where I conducted Industrial Effluent Characteristic Studies (IECS), performed jar testing, and supported the design and commissioning of wastewater treatment systems for industrial clients.

I later worked as an Environment Officer at Hamac Food Sdn Bhd, managing the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP), monitoring the Online Environmental Reporting (OER) system, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations while liaising with the Department of Environment (DOE).

Currently, I serve as a Senior Utility Officer at Recron Malaysia, overseeing the 24/7 operation of an industrial Effluent Treatment Plant treating over 500 m³/day of effluent, focusing on process optimization, chemical management, and maintaining compliance with Malaysia’s Industrial Effluent Regulations 2009 (Standard A).

I hold a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering with Environment from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Pulau Pinang, completed in 2018.

Prior to that, I obtained a Diploma in Chemical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Terengganu, completed in 2013.

My academic background provided a strong foundation in chemical processes, environmental engineering, and wastewater treatment systems, which I have applied throughout my professional career in industrial effluent treatment and environmental management.
