About Mustafa Afifi:
Mustafa Afifi held his MBChB, Masters in Internal Medicine, and three PG diplomas, in Mental Health, Primary care, and Management respectively. Then he earned his DrPH and worked for 11 years in the Ministry of Health HQ Muscat and then 6 years in the MoH HQ, Dubai as a consultant Mental Health. Then He joined Academia having Masters in Medical Education. He worked as an Assistant Professor Community Medicine in RAK Medical University, UAE. Then, he worked as Associate Professor Public Health and Dean of Academic Affairs in Jumeira University, Dubai. Now he is working in Malaysia as an acting Deputy Dean and Associate Professor Public Health in Perdana University. He is interested in Non-Communicable Diseases Research and Mental Health.
Experience
I worked as an Assistant Professor Community Medicine in RAK Medical University, UAE. Then, I worked as Associate Professor Public Health and Dean of Academic Affairs in Jumeira University, Dubai. Now I am working in Malaysia as an acting Deputy Dean and Associate Professor Public Health in Perdana University. I am interested in Non-Communicable Diseases Research and Mental Health and published many peer review articles and attended many international conferences.
