Nicole Michael

I am an Accounting graduate with practical experience in the finance and accounting industry. I completed a 5-month internship at an accounting/audit firm, where I gained hands-on experience in financial reporting. Following that, I worked as a Junior Executive Accounts & Finance for 5 months, where I was responsible for daily financial operations, preparing monthly financial reports, and conducting financial analysis. I am proficient in accounting software; UBS accounting software & SQL accounting software. Beyond academics, I have experience organizing activities in college, participated in an online STEM competition, represented my school in public speaking competitions, and competed in chess tournaments. Currently, I am seeking career opportunities in Sarawak to further develop my expertise in finance and accounting while being closer to my family. I am dedicated, detail-oriented individual with a strong willingness to learn and grow in this industry.

With a background in accounting and finance, I have gained practical experience through a 5-month internship at an accounting/audit firm and 5 months as a Junior Finance & Accounts Executive. During this time, I was involved in financial reporting, auditing procedures, and daily accounting operations, developing strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

I hold a Diploma in Accounting, where I developed a strong foundation in financial reporting, and  management accounting. As part of my final year project, I worked on UBS accounting software, gaining hands-on experience in computerized accounting systems and financial data management. Additionally, I completed a 5-month internship at an accounting/audit firm, where I applied my academic knowledge to real -world financial operations. My education, combined with practical experience, has equipped me with the technical skills and problem-solving abilities needed for a career in finance and accounting.
