I am a second-year undergraduate at the University of Edinburgh studying 
Chemistry BSc. I am looking for a 3-month internship in chemistry-related field from the start of June until the end of August.

Aside from following an intensive coursework degree in chemistry, I have had 
extensive hands-on laboratory experience in the lab classroom. I have learned about 
chemical synthesis and analysis, as well as safe laboratory practices. Through lab 
sessions, I have had the opportunity to explore many analytical techniques, which can 
be helpful for the internship. I am also proficient in Microsoft Office and Python, as I 
enrolled in a data-driven chemistry course. 

Through my part-time working experience as a cleaner, I have gained excellent 
communication and critical thinking skills. I enjoy working independently and as part 
of a team and have learnt to organise my time efficiently whilst at university. I have 
also developed my attention to detail, which is very crucial in this field.

I believe I would be an asset to your company. This internship would provide me with 
the ideal opportunity to give back to the country and assist your company and
expand my laboratory skills.
