Rohan Mazumdar

I am a software engineer by profession, married to Shikha Sharma and always very keen to learn new technologies and upgrading in the existing ones. I moved to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia with an opportunity to work with Topdanmark Insurance org, client from India and have been here since last 5 years. I have previous experience in India of close to 9 years having worked for some big organisations like Royal Bank of Scotland, HCL Technologies and also an exciting warehouse automation robotics startup GreyOrange Robotics.

 With over 12 years of experience in coding in different organization types like Warehousing Automation Robotics, Banking, Insurance and service based IT houses, I have honed my skills in various programming languages such as React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, AWS Lambda for our middlewares and Python.. I have also gained extensive knowledge in AWS, Next.js, Nest.js, GraphQL, NodeJS, Tortoise ORM, MongoDB, MySQL,  automation and unit test frameworks and some other related technologies.. 

My experience includes developing scalable web applications and building RESTful APIs using modern frameworks and technologies. To deliver high quality code we write extensive unit test cases using Jest/react-testing-library and also end to end automation tests using Cucumber/Gherkin in my  present organization. All of this is smartly integrated into our Jenkins build pipeline. Recently I have been working on a generative AI based chatbot solution leveraging Python and Langchain based OpenAI models.

I am an individual contributor, a team player and believe in collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver results. I have experience working in agile methodologies and am well-versed in version control systems such as Git, github actions, etc.

In my current role, I am responsible for working  as an individual contributor, mentoring new hires, and providing technical guidance to the team. I enjoy sharing my knowledge with others and am always  very much open to learning new technologies and tools.
