As an analytical chemist with over 2 years of experience in the field, I am passionate about using what I know to help people solve difficult issues and spur innovation. My area of specialisation is the characterization and quantification of a wide range of compounds in various matrices, such as water samples, and industrial products.

1. Developed laboratory testing programs and data analysis while adhering to SOPs and work instructions with minimal supervision. 

2. Participated in the accreditation for the detection of Total Chlorine in Drinking Water. 

3. Participated in laboratory Proficiency Testing (LGC, IIS and JKM) and investigations of CAPAs when required. 

4. Experienced in environmental testing, especially in water analysis (Chemical Oxygen Demand, pH, oil and grease, colourimetric and heavy metal tests). 

5. Experienced in various industrial product testing, mainly in paint and colourant (Migration testing for Food Contact Substances, inorganic testing and purity test of HNS). 

6. Proficient in ICP-OES, XRF, UV-vis and HACH spectrometer Became the main ICP-OES analyst in the entire lab and was responsible for releasing accurate results from various departments on a timely basis. 

7. Assisted in the training of juniors for their respective job scopes. 

8. Performed sampling, sample treatment and acid digestion for samples.
