About Tze Shin Chou:
Recent Environmental Technology graduate of Universiti Sains Malaysia. Throughout my degree, I have gained basic knowledge on occupational safety and health, water treatment technology, environmental legislation, environmental management, auditing skills and environmental forensics.
My internship experience at the Facilities Department in Robert Bosch has provided me with skills on energy management, canteen auditing, and chimney chemical exhaustion monitoring. An ISO50001 training in Robert Bosch from SGS Academy has equipped me with energy management framework to develop a more efficient energy usage.
I am very passionate with environmental issues and management to mitigate these issues. Therefore, I am looking for opportunities in environmental, safety and health career that could enable me to continue learning, building new skills and benefit Micron Semiconductor Asia Pte., Ltd.
Experience
Internship Experience
- Setup and organize energy platform portal.
- Monitor energy consumption of the whole company.
- Resolve problems that arise from monitoring meters.
- Production line survey for chimney monitoring (chemical fume exhaust).
- Conduct canteen audit for food safety and cleanliness of the kitchen
Working Experience
- Gelatin sample extraction from different sources (fish, cows, pigs, plants) from local producers.
- Gelatin extraction from pharmaceutical capsules.
- Bulk stable isotope analysis of carbon and nitrogen content of gelatin using elemental analyzer coupled to an isotope ratio mass spectrometry (EA-IRMS) to differentiate processed gelatin from local producers and gelatin from pharmaceutical capsules.
