Experience
- Master's Thesis on Honey Analysis: I conceived and conducted a comprehensive study to analyse the qualities of stingless bee honey in Sarawak, Malaysia. This research included the development of a database for international honey guidelines. This research found a 15% increase in antioxidant content compared to previous research, which is a significant contribution to the field of food science.
- Internship at Sarawak Biodiversity Centre: I gained practical experience in microbiology and plant tissue culture. My key responsibilities include Actinomycetes isolation, viability assessments and plant propagation.
- Actinomycetes Isolation: I isolated and cultivated five Actinomycetes strains from soil samples, using various methods to ensure successful growth.
- Viability Assessments: I conducted viability assessments on the Actinomycete isolates, achieving an 85% average viability rate across different growth media.
- Plant Propagation: I successfully propagated three plant samples in a controlled, aseptic environment, achieving a remarkable 95% survival rate before their transfer to planting fields.
