During my pursuit of a Diploma in Information Technology at Sunway College KL, I have had the opportunity to immerse myself in a diverse range of subjects and practical experiences that have shaped my understanding and skills in the field. Currently in my final semester, I reflect on the journey that began in 2022 and the academic and practical accomplishments that have contributed to my CGPA of 3.56.

Throughout the program, I have engaged in a variety of coursework designed to provide a comprehensive foundation in information technology. Key subjects such as Database Fundamentals, Fundamentals of Operating Systems, and Data Communication & Networking have equipped me with essential technical knowledge. My proficiency in Java Programming and Web Development has been honed through hands-on projects and assignments, allowing me to apply theoretical concepts to real-world scenarios. Courses in Object-oriented Modelling and Mobile Application development have further enhanced my ability to design and implement effective software solutions.

Additionally, my studies in Network Administration & Security and Human-Computer Interaction have broadened my understanding of the critical aspects of IT infrastructure and user-centric design. These courses have emphasized the importance of creating secure, efficient, and user-friendly systems, a principle that I have applied in my final year project.

As the culmination of my diploma program, I spearheaded the development of a Recycling Collection Management System. This project addresses the challenges within recycling processes by leveraging innovative technological solutions. I incorporated robust database encryption to ensure data security, implemented push notifications to improve user engagement, and designed user-friendly interfaces to facilitate ease of use. The system not only streamlines recycling operations but also promotes environmental sustainability by encouraging more efficient recycling practices.

This final year project has been a significant learning experience, allowing me to integrate various skills and knowledge acquired throughout the program. It required a holistic approach, combining technical prowess with project management and problem-solving abilities.
