Job Description :

• Identify new areas of opportunities in sustainable financing across the region, and position CIMB Consumer to strategically capture these opportunities through the development and delivery of sustainable finance branding and proposition for CIMB, including new sustainability-related products and services for Consumer banking
• Lead and work closely with product team to develop green/social/sustainable cards/ loans/ deposits/ Investment products/Insurance, and financial inclusion.
• Drive the incorporation of environmental, social and governance considerations into business product and marketing decisions, working closely with Group Sustainability to upskill relevant teams within Consumer Banking.
• Work closely with the various Consumer Division and Group teams including Group Sustainability to ensure successful delivery of the Consumer Bank's sustainability projects, initiatives plus key milestones to achieve Consumer ESG KPIs.
• Champion, advise and ensure the embedment and continuous practice of responsible banking when assessing consumer product & services.
• Assist on strategic proposals, dashboards and reports to facilitate related meetings.
• Run capacity building initiatives to create awareness on CIMB's sustainability related policies, practices and ambitions, to consumer banking staff, to ensure that CIMB's sustainable financing practices are well understood and applied in day-to-day business.
• Support Group-wide projects/conferences related to consumer ESG such as The Cooler Earth Summit
